I'm so glad that God has been using me in ways I neva thot possible
Thank You God!
And continue to help me grow my prayer ministry
And grant me the disclipline and perserverance to pray for others

Memory verse of the day for me:
1 John 2:27
And as for you, the annointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as HIS ANNOINTING TEACHES YOU ABOUT ALL THINGS, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, YOU ABIDE IN HIM.

I finally have a bit of time to update my blog! have been able to relax for 2 days..after today, its back to the grind! jus completed 3 assignments, have 2 more to go..the one due next week is quite crucial though..its a subject w quite a high failure rate..haha anw i have been happy with the results i have been getting back, haha..all not bad hehe..considering the amount of effort put in..went out with raynu n thanu yest to tree plaza.:) its a bit like rundle mall, but at least its sth different.haven't been to marion yet..but i heard its the same as tea tree..we came back with pretty good buys..raynu bought a 40 bucks pair of sandals from novo..haha but it was worth it..she said that i have been influencing her to shop more ever since we started hanging together..i guess its true la..she has been buying stuff on our shoppin sprees..i jus bought a pair of 15 bucks sports shoes cos i need to start joggin! n lose the whole tummy before i come back..i used to think that only models had flat tummies but now im startin to realise that quite a lot of my friends have pretty flat tummies too! haha so im gg to start jogging everyday..but i always end up makin empty promises..but we'll see.. anw i cant wait for my christmas party! hopefully daryl agrees to my plans, then i can organise the party when i come back..was day dreaming abt it jus now! there's this really cool website on the internet abt recepies and cooking..go check it out! its at http://www.cookingismypassion.blogspot.com/ its an amazing site. sorry that i havent finished my blogs on melbourne..feelin a bit lazy

This was the fudge shop, which sold many different kinds of chocolates, sweets and fudge..i bought rum and rasin fudge and chocolate fudge from heretts the 3 of us:)I bought rum and raisin ice-cream from here..its the authentic kind of rum and raisin ice-cream..the base colour is light brown with raisins in it..homemade ice-cream yummy! The GardenI love the teapots in this garden..you can grow plants in them and place them in your garden..they are really huge n uniquethe baskets of flowers are so lovely and beautifulYellow rosestts me and cacing (cell leader) haha we managed to get him to pose for us behind all these cardboards..he actually doesnt like takin photos..but he had no choice..it was hilarious man..and he had to pose twice for each cardboard, cos my housemate wanted to take a photo with each of the cardboards too..n he was the only male around..haha

God speaks!

God has been speaking to me so much recently
And in a really direct way
Like the previous sunday: He spoke to me almost immediately and so directly! cos I was feeling really alone that Sunday and I felt that God was not there with me and I was asking and praying during worship, 'Where are you God, have You forgotten abt me?' It was during the last song. And immediately after the last song, the pastor read out a verse that started with' I have not forgotten you.. and sth abt how He will give strength to the weak.. which I thot was really amazing cos it shows that God is a living God.. I responded to the altar call tt day too,cos the presence of the Lord was too strong to be ignored..and it was the first time that I had responded to an altar call in a year

And recently, I have been thinking about what im gg to do after graduation, whether i'm gg to work in australia/ move to australia..Daryl probably wants to work in aussie after he graduates..and I've been thinking abt various plans..how to get PR..whether to work in Sydney first and stuff.. but I'm worried abt what kind of ministry i can have in australia..still trying to figure out how God fits into everything..and God gave me this verse from
Proverbs 19: 20-21

20 Listen to advice and accept instruction, and in the end you will be wise.
21 Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.

Amen, I know God! and i want your purpose to be done in my Life.. so please let it be done cos i wan to serve You all of my life
I want to be a blessing to others! :D

Anw, God speaks and I guess I have to listen..maybe that's why i have to do that lengthy essay on listening

My new Cap

I love my new cap/hat!

I bought it at Myer last week

Its so versatile

It can go with almost anything

And I can wear it on a bad hair day too! Haha

Like how guys wear caps on bad hair days

Assignments

I can't take my assignment anymore
that's why i'm here
It's a 2500 word essay on LISTENING
I mean who has so much stuff to say about LISTENING?
Plus its an individual assignment
I' ve been working on it the whole day
And I'm bored about talking about listening!
BUT
LISTENING is important
Very important

Melbourne day 10: Dinner with sherlynn and sherron

Melbourne days 5 to 9: Smith Street, bridge road, Laigon street, Taste of Singapore, Lilyvale

Ab's

We went to ab's on friday to try ab's..cos everybody said that it is something that we must try in adelaide..haha we ordered the combo set, 5 bucks per person, it was lamb and chicken meat and fries with lots of sauces on it..not too bad..but i think its v fattening..We were so full after that..but it was sth different, neva tasted it before

Melbourne day 4: Great Ocean Road and Crown

We were on the road again..on our way to Great Ocean Road..The road trips were quite tiring actually..cos they were so long..i didn't feel like getting out of the car at times..We went to the 12 Apostles at the Great Ocean Road..I loved the sea..me n michelle played in the sea for a while..really nice and refreshing! We had a picnic next to the sea :) This was the beach that we played on..seems like a scene from famous five :D This was one of the beaches/lookout points that we stopped at on the way to the 12 ApostlesThe 12 Apostles.. i think that there are only a few apostles left cos quite a few have collapsed already haha 1 of them just collapsed last yr..i think that each rock is supposed to represent 1 apostle but i'm not sure which rocks represent the apostles cos they can jus be new/miscellaneous rocksI like the shape of this rock:)Other lookoutpoints at the 12 apostlesWe went to the crown in the night..the fireballs display was really nice..the heat was quite intense man..I liked the night view of melbourne city..really nice! We ate dessert at one of the posh looking places in Crown, where 1 slice of cake cost 10 bucks..damn ex la! n the water cost us 7 bucks..the service wasnt good too..but the ambience was nice
I think i need a better camera..my camera is really old n the pics dont turn out v nice..quite blur..not as clear as i would like it to be

Melbourne day 3: Philip Island

I spent a lot more time and money on sightseeing than on shopping in Melbourne, which is a good thing! I only spent money twice on shopping :)
I went to Philip Island with Michelle ( Singaporean), Christian (German), Suzzane (German) and Jas (Thailand)..Christian and Jas were such good navigators that we didn't lose our way at all and we managed to cover almost the whole of Philip Island. We went on a road trip..had sandwiches and cookies in the car for our meals..It was such a windy day that I almost got blown away by the wind..Christian had to hold me down, in order to prevent me from swaying with the wind..haha It was so windy that my ears hurt..
We visited Cowes, the pyramid rock, Koala Conservation Centre, a walk along the swamps, Seal Rocks...The sea view at the Seal Rock was some of the most beautiful sea views i have ever seen.. it was lovely to see the waves smashing on/against the rocks..We spent a long time there admiring the sea..

The penguin parade was the highlight of the day..the penguins were so small and cute..We saw hundreds of penguins..They would all hurdle together at the shoreline and form into groups before making their way inland in groups.. This was cos they were most vulnerable to predators out in the open..This was also the time where the penguins were most scared..The penguins appeared in the evening..after the sun had set..cos they were more vulnerable in daylight..We were told that this is the season for the mating of the penguins..that was why so many of them came onshore to breed..I saw 2 penguins mating together..n the male was making a lot of noise..haha! He does this to excite the female.

From this trip, I learnt that in order to communicate with people from different countries, I had to phrase my sentences correctly, give complete sentences that were gramatically correct and not leave out large portions of what i want to say (I always assume that pple know what i mean)..But it was a good experience gg on a road trip with people from different countries cos u learn how to build rapport with them, crack jokes with them...I got along pretty well with them and we enjoyed each other's company!
This was at the Koala Conservation Park..Do I look like the Koala?hahaThis is a picture of a swamp in Australia..it was pretty nice actually..We took a 20 min walk along the swamp..
These are pics taken at the seal rock, where the waves smash against the rocks to form streams of water..I love the scenery here the most!
There were so many sea gulls on the hills as this is the mating season for them too..Many of them were laying eggs or protecting their nests.
We couldn't take any photos at the penguin parade, so i can't show u the photos..Daryl couldn't really come sightseeing with me cos he still had school and lots of assignments due tt week..but he would wake up really early in the morning to send me to the train station in the city cos he said sth abt how its not v safe in Melbourne..but i think its okay la..so he spent time w me in the evenings and nights and during the weekends :D
